Pastor Jason Stephens and his family
pastor@gracebaptistwindsor.orgJason is the Lead Pastor of Grace. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, he moved to Windsor, CT in 2004 to follow the Mission and Preach the gospel.
Jason was born in Greenwood, SC and grew up in Greenville, SC and Walkertown, NC. When Jason was eleven years old he trusted Christ as his personal Savior.
Jason attended Trinity Baptist College where he received a degree in Church Ministry and Youth from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. While in college, he was blessed to travel the country with a quartet and minister through song. Jason served as an Assistant and Youth Pastor for nine years prior to moving to Windsor. He ministered to young people from all walks of life: Home-schoolers, Public and Private schools, and youth in the juvenile detention centers. Jason has a rich family heritage of ministry service. His grandfather pastored for 50 years in North and South Carolina. His father has been in ministry since Jason was a child. and his younger brother is a Pastor in NC. Jason became the Pastor at Grace in 2004. He is married to Clare and they have four amazing kids!
Jason’s wife, Clare, is originally from Grove, England, just outside the famous city of Oxford. Clare’s family lived in England until her father’s job moved them to Boston. Her family did not know Christ until someone knocked on their door and invited them to church. She trusted Christ at an early age. Clare is also a graduate of Trinity Baptist College, where she earned a degree in Elementary Education. Clare delights in being a stay at home mom and helping raise their two sons and two daughters.
Jason and Clare were married in 1996 and they currently reside in Windsor.
